Patrick McCamley – Partner and Co-Founder
Patrick is a Partner and Co-founder of Skyline Partners. Patrick McCamley most recently served as a Sr. Partner with Civitium, the leading industry consultancy advising municipalities and industry on Digital Cities Strategies. While an active Partner at Civitium, Patrick served as the lead advisor for Las Vegas, Phoenix, Vancouver, BC, Rosario Argentina, World Bank and numerous other domestic and international agencies on matters related to community broadband strategy, policy, technology and communications planning. Prior to Civitium, Patrick served as Director of Business Development for Siemens, leading their New Market Initiatives in North and South America. Patrick also served as a Managing Director for Mendelson Associates, a management consulting firm and was a Business Development Executive for Inacom Corporation. Patrick is recognized as an industry leader and is a frequent speaker at industry events around the world.
David Wendlandt – Partner and Co-Founder
David is a Partner and Co-founder of Skyline Partners. David Wendlandt most recently served as the Worldwide WiMAX Marketing Director for the Consumer Solutions Group of Intel Corporation. He joined Intel in September, 1998. In his most recent position, David was responsible for marketing programs with WiMAX service providers worldwide. Prior to joining the Consumer Solutions Group, David was Business Development Manager within Intel’s Broadband Wireless Division where he developed strategic carrier relationships specific to WiMAX. Prior to joining Intel, David held various executive positions within the wireless industry including, CellularOne, CellStar, MCI and AT&T Wireless.
Brian Gardepe – Partner
Brian is a Partner of Skyline Partners. Mr. Gardepe was most recently Chief Strategy Officer and SVP of Technology for Open Range Communications. In 2009, Open Range closed $400M in financing to build a 4G Wireless network in rural America. Prior to joining Open Range, Mr. Gardepe was Senior Vice President of Emerging Opportunities at Level 3 Communications. Mr. Gardepe joined Level 3 with the acquisition of Corporate Software, where he was President of Corporate Software’s Knewko subsidiary. With thirty years of experience and global responsibilities with industry leaders Xerox, Apple, Digital Equipment and Toshiba along with founding four startup firms, he brings an entrepreneurs view to developing new business opportunities. Mr. Gardepe attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, when he was recruited in 1980 by Xerox to lead software programs for the Xerox Alto, today known as the Macintosh.
Louis Rajczi – Partner
Louis Rajczi is a Partner of Skyline Partners. Prior to Skyline Partners, Mr. Rajczi spent three years as a financial and strategic advisor for a variety of communications companies covering a diverse range of technologies: WiMax, PON, RFID, UWB and WiFi. Previously, Mr. Rajczi was Vice President, Investment Partner, Siemens Venture Capital (SVC) managing investment activity within the Siemens’ Communications Fund. He also served in the Chief Technology Office of Siemens' Information and Communications Mobile division in Munich, Germany. Mr. Rajczi has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Global Locate, Inc. (acquired by Broadcom), Telesym, Chantry Networks (acquired by Siemens) and Time Domain Corporation. Mr. Rajczi received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan in 1986 and an MBA from Southern Methodist University in 1990.
Carl L. Nerup – Partner
Mr. Nerup is a Partner of Skyline Partners. Previously, he was a Vice President in AT&T’s Strategic Business Development organization, where he had responsibility for identifying new business opportunities across all AT&T business units. He also evaluated all Venture opportunities and manages the full Minority Investment Portfolio for AT&T. Prior to AT&T, Mr. Nerup was a Managing Director at Digital Island, a Cable & Wireless Company, a start-up provider of global hosting and content delivery services. Before that, Mr. Nerup was on the launch team for Aerial Communications, a start-up provider of GSM services in seven markets across the U.S., where he was the Head of Sales Operations and Distribution Strategy. Mr. Nerup has also served as a Senior Manager at USWest Cellular. Mr. Nerup is a frequent speaker at industry forums and conferences and provides advisory services to numerous companies in the emerging high technology and telecommunications industries as well as select nonprofit organizations and graduate schools.
Kimberlie Cerrone – Partner
Kimberlie Cerrone is a Partner of Skyline Partners. She has served as Chief Financial Officer, VP Business Development or General Counsel at eight venture capital-backed companies; two of which she saw from the initial startup phase through public offerings and beyond (Neurobiological Technologies and Net Perceptions). Ms. Cerrone practiced technology law at two of Silicon Valley’s top law firms (Venture Law Group and Gunderson Dettmer) were she was an early advisory to several successful technology companies, including Yahoo!, Ariba, Target Therapeutics and Google. She was a Managing Director of an early stage venture fund (Halo Fund). Ms. Cerrone has a B.S. from the University of Illinois, a M.S. from New York University and a MBA from University of San Francisco. She graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and is an active member of the California and USPTO bars.
Jim Anderson – Partner
Jim Anderson is a Partner of Skyline Partners. Mr. Anderson was most recently Vice President, Corporate Strategy for Qwest Communications. In this capacity, Mr. Anderson’s responsibilities included the development of the corporation’s strategic growth initiatives, strategic investments, partnership agreements, innovation framework, long-range plan, competitive intelligence and strategic data. He also led the company’s development of strategic relationships having architected, negotiated and executed Qwest’s strategic partnerships with Microsoft, DirecTV and Verizon Wireless. Prior to joining Qwest, Mr. Anderson held various executive positions at early stage startups and held business development, sales and engineering positions with Compaq Computer Corporation, and Shell Oil Company. Mr. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in business information systems and accounting from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
Alberto Carmona Garcia – Latin American Affiliate Partner
Alberto Garcia Carmona is an Affiliate Partner with Skyline Latin America. Previously, he served for nine years as Director of General Motors Argentina, managing Public Affairs, Export, Communication and Marketing areas. Mr. Carmona also served as Executive Producer of the Inform Mercosur TV program and Executive Director of Gran Canal TV Productions. His professional career began in the private consulting field for economic projects. He later became partner at Brons & Salas Law Office ( Buenos Aires), one of the most prestigious Law firms in Argentina. He is a member of the Board of Directors at the American Bar Association, American Chamber of Commerce of Argentina, Manufacturer Car Association, Junior Achievement Argentina and Chamber of Exporters of Argentina.
